There are many services who give a shit to your privacy. Yesterday was the european day of data privacy and threema notified its users with a broadcast message including a link to a blogpost. They included a link to privacyheroes where services are listed who value your privacy. I recognized that I already use three of the services and I'm thinking about putting down my old habits and using them all.

imho: That's a move everyone should consider.

But please don't just use these services. Always take a closer look yourself.
